PR/PO CREATION ACROSS DIFFERENT LEDGERS

Hello,

We have a multi-ledger, multi-legal entity setup in Oracle Cloud ERP with the following structure:

Remat – Legal Entity A – Ledger A – Business Unit A (Holding Company / Centralized Procurement BU)

Ressa – Legal Entity B – Ledger B – Business Unit B (Subsidiary)

Muhtol – Legal Entity C – Ledger C – Business Unit C (Subsidiary)

Each legal entity is mapped to a distinct primary ledger and business unit, maintaining a one-to-one relationship.

Our business requirement is to enable centralized procurement, where Remat (the holding company) acts as the Procurement BU on behalf of its subsidiaries (Ressa and Muhtol). However, while testing the creation of purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) across business units that belong to different ledgers, we’re observing that the system does not allow this cross-ledger transaction.
