Narrative extension 25.09 throws error and now Books and Report Package options unavailable

Summary:

Installed the Narrative 25.09 extension after prompt. Following installation, closed Excel and upon reopening, an error is thrown and then in viewing the Smart View Shared Connections, Books and Report Packages are no longer available and Narrative in the extensions has a greyed "Install" next to it with no option to remove or update. Each time I open Excel now, the 25.09 extension update window continues to pop-up. Hoping someone can explain how to "fix" this as SRs take too long
