Can we search by last four digits of SSN

Hello,

I'm curious if anyone has found a way in Oracle to search for an employee by the last four digits of the social security number? On a lot of the paperwork, we receive in Payroll we receive the last four digits listed and we would like to be able to search by that.

Has anyone had any luck doing that?

Also, if we just search for first name there seems to be a limit of the number of lines that are returned in the search. For example, if we search for anyone with the first name Michelle and use the wild card symbol of % it will only return a certain number of lines and then just stop.
