Searching on item number in My Requisitions does not return valid results in RSSP

Summary:

Searching on item number does not return valid or accurate results in the My Requisitions screen.

We have been able to make the item number visible using VBCS but the searching is not good at all.

For example, searching on an item SRO-19266 brings back other requisitions with an item starting 'SRO' but the requisition for this item is much further down the list rather than at the top.

Is this broken? My understanding is elastic searching should bring back the closest match to the values entered in the search.

Is there scope to include filters for items?
