Opinions on terminating EMP record because of wrong hire date and rehiring with correct hire date?
Summary:
Looking for your opinions on what to do when business wants to change the legal employer hire date into the future after payroll has been processed and GL Transferred. I am thinking the only way this could happen is if the work relationship is terminated and then rehired with the date business is looking for. I'm looking for other suggestions. Thanks

We pay stipends on a certain group of individuals before employee steps foot in the door. Once they step in the door, business wants to change their hire date to that date. We run oracle payroll.
