Unable to change start date of employee

Hi Team,

The employee’s start date in Fusion has been incorrectly configured as 01-Jan-1951.The employee has multiple assignments. We’re unable to update the start date, as the following error is displayed:
“You cannot change the Legal Entity hire or start date if multiple assignment records exist for the same date. You must remove the records to change the date. (PER-1531708)”
Could you please advise on how we can correct this employee’s record?
