Promote and Position Change - 'Managers' field should display only specific set of employees

Summary:

Hi Team,

The business requirement is to display the specific set of employees in the list in 'Managers' field displayed during the Promote and Position Change transaction on the Managers section.

Currently all the employees are listed in the list. Data is masked.

Current Behavior: All the users/employees names are listed in the dropdown list.

Expected Behavior/Business Requirement: Only the list of employee names should be displayed with specific Bargaining Unit.

Has anyone ever have received such requirement? Is there any solution or workaround to this requirement? Is this requirement achievable currently or in current release?

Any inputs would be highly appreciated.
