Clarification on DFF Field Behavior and Enhancement in Redwood UI

I am currently migrating the following pages from Responsive UI to Redwood: Classroom, Instructor and Training Supplier. During this migration, I encountered an issue where, for Descriptive Flex field (DFF) , both the value and description are displayed in the LOV dropdown list.

While investigating, I found document referencing an enhancement request to display both value and description at the UI level. However, I couldn’t find any documentation confirming whether this enhancement has been deployed in production.
