Confused by MetricsPeriod Parameter in Forecasting profile - Pls help.

MetricsPeriod, according to whitepaper : Controls whether engine metrics MAPE, MAD, and Bias are generated as part of forecast run. Parameters values are numbers. 0 will not generate the metrics. Values of 1 or greater will generate the metrics and use the value to determine the number of recent time periods used in the calculation. However I need some clarification for correct interpretation.

Given the above, does that mean that the 182 default means we calculate metrics MAPE, MAD, and Bias only on the last six months?

If i have monthly Shipment History from 1-Jan-2021 to 30-SEP-2025 and want to use History Offset, in this case by 9 months ending history at 31-DEC-2024, will the MAPE be calculated on the last six month of History (considering the offset) so Dec 2024 to June 2024 or still using the actual history (non considering the offset, so 30-SEP-2025 backwards to March-2025?
