Using cages for picking and transportation in WMS

Summary:

As shown in the attached image, we are procuring these steel cages that we will use to :

1. Pick items into from the racks
2. Transport the same racks in the outbound trucks as-is to make efficient use of the truck space

In WMS, we want to track:

1. The total available inventory of these cages ( lets say we buy 100 cages ) we want to receive and stock all the 100 cages by cage ID in WMS.
2. Whenever a cage ( lets say cage, C037 ) is used to pick the items from the rack and the same cage is transported / outbounded, we want to track that cage C037 has been outbounded with order number ORD01 to customer XYZ. and that the total number of cages in warehouse now are 99 (100-1)
