Model forecast is not consumed by Sales Orders created for Configured item

Summary:

We are implementing Supply Planning for CTO scenarios. We have uploaded forecast for Model items (Forecast coming from DM). Currently we have sales order for configured items, but we have observed that forecast is not getting consumed. Are there any other setups which control the forecast consumption.

Please note that our source system is EBS.

I went through the below link, it says that there are no other setups and the attribute Forecast control is not useful.
