FTE Inaccuracy on Position Number

Summary:

We recently started noticing employee FTEs changing in the system and being split inaccurately between Total FTE and Vacant FTE. Example images below. Has anyone run into these issues or found a solution? Our position updates keep getting reversed automatically.

Example A: The FTE should be 1.0 but for some reason it keeps getting split to 0.5FTE total and 0.5FTE vacant

Example B: The FTE should be 0.625 but it shows 1.0 Total FTE and -0.344 for Vacant FTE. We tried updating these but it the system keeps reversing it and going back to these wonky FTEs.
