Duplicate Contact Deletion

Summary:

Hi Everyone,

1. Initially we loaded contacts and few records got duplicated. Now we are able to delete them manually from contacts/family and contacts, but person record still remains in person management which is causing issues for benefit enrollment integration. Since the integration picks name.
2. For system added contacts, if we delete them as contacts. Person record also gets deleted from person management.

We would like to delete the person records for loaded contacts as well. Also, would like to understand why this discrepancy between loaded and manually added contacts deletion.

I understand the contact relationship is getting deleted not person record. But for added contacts by application, both getting deleted, could be a soft delete from person management.
