Epmautomate 25.10 upgrade does not install Java 17,instead it installs Java 1.8 (jre1.8.0_461), why?

Summary:
In Oracle EPM August release notes it was mentioned that EPMAutomate from august would not support Java 8, but would mandatorily install Java 17. When i updated from 25.07 to 25.10, i expected that this release would give us Java 17, but rather the upgrade install Java 1.8 (jre1.8.0_461). Why this behaviour?

Is my expectation wrong?
