Rule created on VBS is only applied for a short time

Hello,

In the Hire an employee flow, we have created the following rule using VBS:
If "job site" (found in the Assignment section) is set to “Yes,” the “Direct/Indirect” field (found in the Assignment section) must be set to “Direct” by default.

When testing the rule, if the “Job Site” field is set to “Yes,” the “Direct/Indirect” field is set to ‘Direct’ for a very short time and then immediately reverts to “Indirect”. So, it seems that the rule is being applied, but only for a very short time.
