can a grids/row/columns down be saved as an object as in Financial Reporting?

Summary:

we need to add a second grid to all of our existing reports and wanted to know if that 2nd grid can be saved as an object so that it can be used for other reports. also the footer/ header saved as an object to be reused. in Financial Reporting all these were avaialble. this saved a lot of time when there's a big change like this happens.
