probhit self approver feature not working as expected

in Self Service Procurement

Hi Team,

We have an issue with our Requisition and Purchase Order approval workflow in BPM. The "Prohibit self-approval" feature, which we have enabled, is not working as expected.

The issue occurs when the preparer and the requester of a requisition are the same person. In this scenario, the system is incorrectly routing the approval notification to the requester, even though our configuration is set to prevent this.

Could you please investigate why the self-approval restriction is not being enforced? We need to ensure that the workflow correctly bypasses the requester's approval step in these situations.
