Options to reclassify assets from Old category to new category created to correct Asset Clearing ?

Hello Everyone,

We have a scenario in Production where an incorrect asset clearing account was set up for a specific asset category. Currently, the only available option to correct this seems to be creating a new asset category, which we are considering.

However, we have around 100,000 assets under the existing category, and we are exploring if there’s any way to reclassify these assets from the old category to the new one to avoid manual effort.

Has anyone faced a similar situation or found an efficient way to handle this kind of reclassification? Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
