How to return a distinct value in LOV

We just migrated to Redwood and have a descriptive flexfield in ORC that is creating an issue when users are creating a requisition. It was working just fine in the responsive UI, but the Visual Builder component in Redwood expects each value in the LOV to have a unique key. After I opened a SR ticket, Oracle advised to reconfigure our Flexfield to ensure that only unique values are populated in the LOV. Below is our current setup. Does anyone have any recommendations on what needs to change here?
