Approval Hierarchy Synchronization is still processing after about 12 hours. How can i stop it?

Summary:

I was unable to lock periods and it was due to Approval Unit Hierarchy out of sync. I proceed to run the Approval Hierarchy Synchronization, however it has been processing for about 12 hours now (see screenshot attached). What can I do do now? It does not seem that there is an option to stop this job. Appreciate some advice on this. Thanks!
