Multi Factor Authentication - Active Web Session ADFDI

Hi Oracle,

We’ve observed that following a recent quarterly patch update on one of our tenancies, users are being prompted for multi-factor authentication (MFA). While this in itself is not an issue, we’ve noticed that even after successfully authenticating via the web interface, users are prompted to authenticate again when launching the ADFDI template.

Could you please clarify why this secondary authentication is required, even when a valid, authenticated web session is already active? It would be helpful to understand if this is expected behavior or if there’s a configuration we can adjust to streamline the user experience.
