Transfer Order and Lock Code Restriction Across Two Companies (Parent–Child Structure)
Summary:
We have a business requirement where two companies are maintained in the same instance because item attributes differ between them. One company acts as the parent and the other as the child.
However, we’re facing two key issues with this setup:
- Transfer Order Limitation: Transfer orders cannot be executed between the two companies.
- Lock Code Restriction: Lock codes can only be defined at the parent level and are not accessible or applicable at the child company level. So we cannot map the subiventory with location for child organization.
