Can we use quarterly period movement in auto approval rule?

Summary:

Hi,

We have requirement from customer to auto approve the reconciliation if period movement is less that 50k USD.

For monthly reconciliations it is not a problem as we can use period activity filed that traces the movement.

However the period activity doesn't track the movement from quarter to quarter for quarterly reconciliations, it just traces the movement from period to period.

Is there any way in ARCS to achieve it? Can we trace the movement from quarter to quarter and to be able to auto approve the reconciliations?
