Make certain Requisition fields REQUIRED based off Charge Account segment in the GL Account

  • Ask: When the Charge Account Segment of the GL Code equals a particular value, we need to ensure that a Project Code and Project Task are also entered for the requisition. Ideally, we would make those fields conditionally required, but if that is not feasible, we can also explore auto-reject during the approvals on the same conditions.

  • When a purchase requisition is created with a certain value in the Charging Segment, then Project and Task Number should be required fields.
    • Can you help with the best way to approach this? I'm vaguely familiar with Visual Builder, I'm assuming it would be done there? But I'm not sure on how to make it contingent upon one segment of the GL string, or if that is even possible. If there is any documentation anyone is aware of that would be very helpful.
