Functional Setup Migration and Change Request Management

T Mobile is requesting a configuration migration solution like what is done today in SAP ChaRM (Change Request Management). ChaRM manages the lifecycle of changes within an SAP system, from the initial request to testing and deployment to production. It helps control and track change requests, ensures changes are moved safely across landscapes (development, testing, production), and manages transport requests.

This solution allows for making individual configuration changes in a non-production instance, adding them into a ‘Transport Package’, then promoting them to a pre-defined environment path ultimately to Production.

This Transport Package allows for adding or removing multiple configuration changes at a time and checks for dependencies across the current and upcoming environment, as well as any config dependencies within the Transport Package itself.
