Opportunity Marketplace - Can Location Be Included in Future AI Matching for Jobs and Career Roles

Summary:

We’re testing the Opportunity Marketplace (Redwood Experience) and have a question about how location preferences are used in the AI matching logic for career role and job recommendations.

Currently, we’ve observed that:

• Career role and job recommendations appear regardless of the team member’s preferred location entered in the Update Interests questionnaire.
• There’s no help text or explanation on the Explore tab to clarify that location is not part of the AI relevance algorithm.
• This can lead to confusion or misinterpretation — team members may assume the roles are filtered by location or availability, which they aren’t.
