Auto-approve transactions based on the time it got triggered.

Need to auto-approve Absence related transactions when no action is taken on the transaction for more than 2 days from being triggered. Is there a way to auto-approve transactions in Absence Management, wherein if it the transaction is not approved within 2 days of being triggered, the system automatically approves it?
