I am facing an issue with the Award Negotiation workflow. When I add a new employee above the first approver in the workflow and click Apply, the system shows that the update is done successfully. However, when I click Submit for Approval, the approval notification is not sent to the newly added employee.

Instead, the notification is sent to the original employee defined in the Setup and Maintenance – Award Negotiation Workflow configuration.

It seems that even though the new approver appears in the workflow sequence, the system still follows the default approval hierarchy.
