How to Enable Time-Based Escalation to Specific Job Levels in Procurement Req Approval Workflow

Summary:

We are attempting to configure an escalation rule within Oracle Procurement Cloud so that when a requisition approval is pending for more than a specified number of days, the approval task is automatically escalated to an approver at a specific job level (for example, Senior Manager or Director).

Based on our current investigation:

• FSM approval rules do not allow us to use the duration for which a task has been pending as a condition.
• The BPM Worklist allows generic time-based escalation, but only to direct supervisors, and does not support escalation logic based on the job level of the next approver.
