how to calculate equity closing balance

Summary:

We have a request to be able to distinguish between deferred tax asset equity and deferred tax liability equity closing balance amounts. To calculate this we need to be able to add current year movement for equity and opening balance for equity. Currently for deferred tax, it does not show equity portion separately in opening balance. How can we identify the equity opening balance for a particular account and then add it to current year movement for equity?
