Save admission data for later submission

I would like to know if there is a way to address this gap in Oracle: in some cases, the admission process is put on hold for a short period and, upon returning, the entered information is lost.

Would it be possible to increase the session time or apply some kind of lock to prevent this loss? Is there any flag or functionality that allows saving the data partially, exiting the screen, and resuming the registration later?

If possible, I request guidance on how to configure it. If not feasible, I request a detailed technical explanation of the limitation to present to the client.
