Item Revision Update Logic Issue – Need Revision to Change from 99 to A0

We are encountering an issue with item revision updates in Oracle Fusion. When an item's previous revision is 99 (with the default revision set to 00 at the organization level), the next revision is automatically generated as 100.

As per our client’s business requirements and legacy system standards, the new revision should transition to A0 to maintain a two-character revision format.

Please advise if there is any configuration or supported approach available to achieve this revision update logic, or suggest possible workarounds to meet this requirement.
