Limitation to selecting only one type of Manager during hiring

Hello,

One of my clients would like to limit the selection to only one type of Manager during the hiring processes (Hire an Employee and Add Contingent Worker). For example, in the system there are two types of Managers: Line Manager and Functional Manager. Is it possible to restrict the selection to only the Line Manager?
