Error on updating a child object record from Debrief record foldout page

We have a few child Objects for the Debrief object. And we have those child object records in foldout panels within the Debrief details page. We were able to create child object records using smart actions. But when we try to edit the child object records, we are getting an error upon saving the changes. "Invalid attribute "300000003094445" in the payload." (Note: 300000003094445 is the puid or id of the Debrief record whose child object record is being edited.)
