Completed OPA instances purged before retention settings

Summary:

We are live with a structured process, and have the retention days set to 180 days in production. However, we are observing that completed processes are getting purged within 15 days violating the documentation at View Data Management Settings

In the Purge retention days field under Purge data settings, you can view the number of days that data is retained for completed process instances.

1. By default, the number of retention days for data of completed process instances is set to 180.
2. For existing customers, if you have already set the number of retention days, then the same number of days is retained and you cannot change this number.
