I recently tested the Job Skills Enrichment agent in Oracle HCM and was pleased to see it suggest skills from our internal library based on job profile context. It’s a great start—but it got me thinking: How do we evolve our skills library to reflect external industry trends and emerging market skills?
Right now, the agent seems to rely heavily on internal job data and our existing skills library. But what if it could:
- Ingest trending skills from external sources like labor market data, industry reports, or job boards?
- Infer skill levels based on job complexity, seniority, or required competencies?
