Employee should not be able to act on active assignments due unpublishing the course/offering

Make the courses not visible in my Learning area for the employees even if the status is not started or in progress

Our client has launched new courses with new learning content and for the old courses they need all the details to be available for reporting and auditing purpose including the status.

Is there a way to make the old courses in my learning area in the employee self-service is not actionable even if the assignment status is Not Started or In Progress.

Mainly, the employee should not be able to launch the old eLearning courses/offerings which was assigned to him previously and at the same time their assignment details i.e., Status should be kept as it's for reporting and auditing purpose.
