How best to set up legal entity VAT registrations for multiple companies?

Using Oracle Fusion Cloud, we have multiple companies in the EC each with multiple legal entity registrations for various things. In our current setup, they all have different jurisdictions and different registration codes - there's no common identifier such as "VAT" that we can use in a query to extract a list of companies & their VAT number.

Does anyone have a good way to identify all registration numbers of the same type?
