Can we send email notifications to candidates about the recruitment status?

Is it possible to set up notification emails to candidates about status changes in Taleo, e.g. when they are moved the shortlist, or to be interviewed status?

Also is it possible to create an automated task to send out emails to candidates who are attached to a requisition but have not been moved to any status for a while (to 'keep the warm')?
