Auth2 authentication for ERP to EPM integration

For ERP to EPM integration we are using an ERP ID as per Oracle documentation. But that is a default authentication. Client wants to check if ERP to EPM integration via data management supports Auth 2 authentication or not. In that case we can configure our connection using a Auth 2 ID. Please let me know if this is possible.
