Secondary Balancing Segment – Intercompany Transaction Identification

Summary:

We have created a Secondary Balancing Segment in our ledger setup. However, when performing intercompany transactions, there is no intercompany segment defined for the secondary balancing segment. As a result, we are unable to identify or benchmark the secondary intercompany entries generated during these transactions.

Issue:

  • Secondary balancing segment has been configured.
  • During intercompany transactions, system does not reflect or assign an intercompany segment for secondary balancing.
  • Unable to determine how the system differentiates or benchmarks intercompany entries for the secondary balancing segment.

Expected Behavior:
The system should generate identifiable intercompany entries for both primary and secondary balancing segments
