How to turn off Job Family Code defaulting

Dear Community,
In a recent update (25C), Job Family Code is was set to default to the Job Family Name. This was turned on by default with no means to turn it off (to my understanding).
For our client, this defaulting is an inconvenience. Is it possible to toggle this defaulting of the Job Family Code on and off?
@Aliasgar Khambhaty-Oracle, I noted in the following post that you mentioned this was a "Opt-in feature". Is this still the case?
When looking at the 25C release for Job Family Page the steps to enable say:
My Question: To quickly reiterate, for our client this feature should be turned off. Is there a way to toggle this?
