Ability to make employee's last name as non-mandatory

Summary:

Currently we have multiple users who don't have any last name and through 'Manage Person Style' we can't make them as non-mandatory. This is creating a lot of issue as employee name in system is not matching with the name present in aadhar/pan card.

Do we have any solution through which we can make the last name as non-mandatory?
