Fixed Asset DFF Bulk upload

I have the DFF values populated for the Fixed Asset descriptive flexfields. The requirement is that the DFF Bulk upload should be possible after Depreciation run and month end close. I have uploaded the FBDI template and run the Post Mass Update Descriptive Flexfield concurrent job and got an error
