ESS job processes can be scheduled in PROD? To prevent data randomly disappearing

Lately in PROD we often experience for the pages falling under Talent, Recruitment, Core HR, data not displaying, even tho we know how to fix it, with re-running all the right processes and
ESS job to create index definition and perform initial ingest to OSCSfor multiple indexes
Shall those ESS processes be scheduled in PROD? to prevent data not loading?
