How can I add charges to both a parent and child item structure in a Price List

I have a scenario where Item1 is the parent and Item2 is the child (component). I want to add separate prices for both items in the Price List and maintain their association using the 'associated item' option in Price List lines. Currently, I can add prices to each item independently, but not as a linked structure.
How can this be set up so that both items and their relationship appear in the Price List?
