Why Supply Plan does not calculate Ship Dates for sales orders like ASCP did

We are in process of replacing ASCP with Fusion Cloud Supply Planning. The source system remains EBS. Our sales orders are having order date type as “Arrival” with ‘Request Date’ and ‘Promise Date’ populated on the sales order. In ASCP, planning engine used to calculate ‘Requested Ship Date’ and ‘Promised Ship Date’ by offsetting the transit lead time. However, Supply Planning Cloud does not calculate these dates.
