Custom Notification Message Added in BPM Worklist Approval Task Is Not Visible in Email Notification

When an approval process is errored, the creator/initiator of the transaction is receiving an email notification but without custom text message added at the location below:

Navigation: Go to BPM worklist>Administration>Task Configuration>search for any approval task (example: AbsencesApprovalTask)>edit>Notification tab> In Task Status 'Error' row, click on pencil icon under Notification Header column >Add custom text message

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The email notification sent to the creator/initiator after transaction is errored should show custom message added at the above location.
