Allow a Custom HTML Placeholder in FCCS UI to Embed Third-Party Chat Widgets
We propose adding a small, static HTML placeholder or widget hook in the FCCS UI that remains visible across all application pages. This would allow customers to securely embed third-party chat assistants - such as Boost.ai - using their own approved embedding scripts. Many enterprise platforms provide such widget spaces, enabling seamless integration of AI-based support tools without requiring backend or functional changes to the core application.
By enabling this placeholder, FCCS customers can offer contextual, real-time user assistance directly within the product, improving user experience, reducing support queries, and accelerating financial close activities. We request Oracle’s guidance on whether such a UI hook can be introduced, and which product engineering group would be the right point of contact to discuss feasibility.
