Redwood miscellaneous transaction back dates one day prior to transaction date

Our users commonly back date the transaction date of a miscellaneous transaction. For some reason, when they select a transaction date that's different from the defaulted date, the transaction date is recorded as the date prior to the selected date.

Example: default transaction date is today's date. I back date it to November 5 and save. The transaction date recorded on the transaction is November 4.

Is this happening with others and is there a way to resolve it?
